£26,591.00 per annum
The core focus of the role is to support the operational functions of the GLAA on legal and policy issues relating to the GLAA’s licensing functions, and labour market regulation with regard to new legislation, and the requirements of Government Better Regulation initiatives. In addition the post holder will be responsible for collating and responding to public consultations relevant to the GLAA.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience of legislative based policy development, excellent spoken/ written communication skills along with good organisational skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
In addition the ideal candidate will also have the ability to build and maintain constructive working relationships with colleagues across Government, and industry stakeholders, with the ability to analyse and propose policy change to drive effective regulation.
It would be advantageous to have experience of working within a regulatory environment.
